Felix turned 32 years old yesterday.
We had the pleasure of being a part of his new year. Felix comes from Austria and has been learning Arabic for more than 3 years now. He chose La Casa to teach English and learn Palestinian Arabic.
Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye to Felix because he is going back home soon to pursue his Ph.D.
We wish him the best of luck!
Monday, May 20th, 2019, our great friend “Army” visited us at La Casa Training Center in Hebron, coming from Finland to Palestine, “Army” taught our students English Language in summer 2015.
She wrote these great words on her Facebook page:
“Wonderful to see you Ihab Hammouri La Casa after 4 years! La Casa Training Center has come to a long way since then and I am so proud of all that you have built here in Hebron and in Amman, Jordan with the new La Casa location. I enjoyed our conversation about life in Palestine, the Middle East, international relations, religion, and our shared faith, that all men are created equal; we are all just humans. I hope our paths will cross again my friend. Inshallah! 💚🇵🇸”

(Musakhan) is a Palestinian traditional dish. It contains; chicken, onions, olive oil, bread, and nuts. Expectedly, it is one of the most liked dishes for our volunteers and it is always fun to make.

One of our volunteers with students from the UNRWA girl’s school in Al Fawwar Refugee camp. We are excited to begin teaching classes this week in this UN school.
